Creating A Page

After searching for a page that does not exist, a message appears prompting the user to create the page they have searched for.

In order to create or edit a page on the IronVail wiki, you must have an account on the wiki and be logged into the account. To create a page, type out the exact name of the page you want to create in the wiki search bar and search for it. If the page does not exist, a message with a red link will appear prompting you to create the page.

Summary Of Writing Tools

The toolbar that appears at the top of the screen while creating or editing a page can be used to edit the text on the page as well as insert links, images, tables, mathematical formulas, chemical formulas, reference lists, and a variety of symbols.

• Changing between header texts or between header and paragraph text: Click the dropdown labelled "Paragraph" in the image.
• Making the text bold, italicized, underlined, adding strikethrough, superscripts and subscripts, etc.: Click the "A" dropdown.
• Adding a link to a page within the wiki: Click the interlocking chains to the right of the "A" and select the "IronVail Wiki" menu. Search for the page you want to link before selecting it.
• Adding a link to a page outside of the wiki: Click the interlocking chains to the right of the "A" and select the "External Site" menu. Paste the complete URL to the site you want to link in the box that appears.
• Citing a page: Click the "Cite" dropdown and add your citation with a link to a website or a written citation.
• Adding a bulleted or numbered list: Click the list dropdown to the right of the "Cite" dropdown.
• Inserting an image, formula, reference list, etc.: Click the "Insert" dropdown.
• Inserting a special character: Click the "Ω" and select the character you wish to use from the menu.
